We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Essex. You will be responsible for selling services for air freight, sea freight and road freight. Responsibilities; Responsible for sourcing your own business leads Generating new sales for all modes of transport Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders Skills Required; Strong sales experience within the freight forwarding industry Experience selling sea, air and road freight Global freight forwarding experience Excellent negotiation skills Good attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office
