As a Radio Paging&Communications Service Engineer you will undertake the servicing and maintenance for our customers. You will take ownership of a problem and have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. Taking pride in your work, you will deliver the best service to our customers and exceed their expectations whenever possible. KEY PRODUCT AREAS: Experienced background in RF Technology |Onsite UHF&VHF Radio Paging | DECT | SIP Telephony | Radio Paging Staff Protection | Speech&Data Radio Paging | GUI Integration | Healthcare&Secure Environments | Attend and resolve daily service calls plus maintenance visits where required. Accountable for your vehicle and its stock once issued. It is your responsibility to ensure they are adequately maintained with any issues being escalated once identified. Flexible working hours will be periodically required to meet client demand. Ideally located to cover customer sites within London&South-East&Essex. Perform Call Out Duty in accordance with published Rota. Carry out minor day-work tasks as required. Aid Installation technicians when required and assist other Service department personnel during their absence in order to achieve Company targets and objectives. Clean driving license. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years Working knowledge of Radio Communication Systems: DECT, IP Telephony, UHF Radio. Minimum 2 years Working knowledge of Windows&DOS based operating systems (PC based and standalone). Minimum 5 years Working Experience within the Security or Communications Industry. Sound IT knowledge and experience of TCP/IP skills. Database administration using Access / SQL. Knowledge of RS485 and Ethernet networks. PC literate in Word, Access, Excel etc. Ability to obtain relevant Security Clearance. Ability to use hand and power tools. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Strong knowledge of the Communications Systems industry and it’s standards. Proven field service/ commissioning technical experience. Proactive response to all situations; lone working and problem-solving ability. Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. Flexible, open to new ideas and managing challenging situations. Ability to work in clinical, secure forensic&custodial environment. Ability to identify&refer potential sales leads (paid commission available) Good communications&time management and planning skills.
