The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to management and employees, delivering HR strategies that align with organizational goals. The role involves partnering with leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Partnering: Align workforce strategies with organizational objectives and provide data-driven insights. Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, employee development, succession planning, and performance management. Employee Relations: Resolve workplace issues, foster communication, and promote a positive culture. Change Management: Support organizational transitions with coaching and effective strategies. Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to labor laws, mitigate risks, and maintain HR policy compliance. DEI Initiatives: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring and workplace practices. Engagement&Satisfaction: Conduct surveys, improve morale, and design recognition programs. HR Technology: Leverage HR systems for data management and process optimization. The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, focusing on enhancing employee engagement and driving organizational success. Requirements: Must have experience working in a Biotech environment Must have strong UK employment law experience Must have experience working in a start up / growing company environment Experience / knowledge of EU employment law (desirable)
