Job Title: HR Administrator Location: Reading Hours: 30 hours per week (Office Based) Salary: £25,000-£30,000 Role Overview: You will form part of a dynamic HR team providing comprehensive support for HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and payroll administration. You'll play a key role in maintaining staff records, ensuring statutory compliance, and managing payroll for all employees. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the recruitment lifecycle, including onboarding, reference checks, compliance checks, and document management. Maintaining the Single Central Register (SCR) and ensure ongoing compliance with DBS checks, UKVI, and safeguarding training. Processing payroll administration, including new starters, leavers, changes in employment status, and uploading data to the payroll system. Managing employee records, maintain an archive system, and provide data for annual reports. Handling staff HR inquiries and coordinate additional tasks as required. Skills and Experience Required: Strong administrative skills and experience in HR or payroll processes. Knowledge of compliance requirements, including DBS checks, safeguarding, and payroll systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with GDPR. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to resolve discrepancies in payroll data. Additional Information: Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this position.
