About the role Working in close collaboration with our HR Services Team, as well as with our Business Systems and Payroll Teams, this is an exciting opportunity to manage the development and delivery of the Council’s pay and reward offer, providing professional advice and insights, to support the retention of skills and talent and to promote engagement. The role is full-time, however the Council supports flexible working requests from day one, so we are open to discussing how different working patterns could be supported. We have set out in the attached job description and person specification what we are ideally looking for in a candidate; our priority is in finding the right candidate with a mix of skills and experience that adds value to our employment offer. You will have demonstrable project management experience and be confident to take the lead on projects, collaborating with others and building strong working relationships, to deliver required outcomes to agreed timescales. This role involves working with large data sets and therefore you will have the digital skills to present, analyse and manipulate data and information for different target audiences. You will value diversity, treat others with respect, and take responsibility for your own actions.
