As a dedicated Works Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of several work activities within the Northumberland, Co Durham ,Tyne and Wear Region including the planning, coordinating&the successful completion of projects, working with both internal and external delivery teams. Works delivered will need to conform to policy/procedures and have influence in the overall customer satisfaction BMCS scores. Works will be varied and although challenging, will be an excellent opportunity to have very good all-round knowledge and skills interchangeable to most parts of our core business. Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivery of a wide range of projects / activities across multiple work streams effectively to time, cost and quality. • Providing customers with excellent customer service in line with the defined policies, achieving a 10/10 customer experience. • Effective site management of resources including direct labour and contractors • Ensuring the highest level of safety standards are achieved throughout the ongoing delivery of the works. • Ensuring the works have been completed to the customer’s satisfaction and immediately rectifying any issues. • Maintaining and contributing continuously to financial governance for all work activities being undertaken • Provide accurate and timely reports on progress and status of regional projects in development and delivery • Managing workload to ensure we are compliant with all policy and standards within our control and the ability to be flexible to help others. • Be positive as well as flexible and should the business need arise work across other workstreams if required. Qualifications&Experience: Desirable Qualifications: Hold or be working towards or willing to undertake: ONC Electrical Engineering/ILM Level 3/NEBOSH Essential Experience: Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service with the ability to communicate with all types of people in a clear and concise manner. Strong decision making, planning, organizational and time management skills. Excellent relationship management, communication and team working skills. Knowledge of the power distribution network. Good IT skills including use of Microsoft applications specifically Word&Excel Full UK Driving License Desirable Experience: Understanding of Health, Safety&Environmental management IOSH (knowledge and application of all Company and Statutory requirements).
