The Role As VP of Data, you will oversee the strategic and operational management of the company’s data function, reporting directly to the CDO. Your mission will be to transform data into a key driver of business growth by optimizing the data infrastructure, advancing analytics capabilities, and ensuring the seamless integration of data into strategic initiatives brought forward by C-Suite. The ideal candidate is an experienced and hands-on leader who can build high-performing teams, align data initiatives with business goals, and support the explosive growth of the organizations data function. Key Responsibilities Contribute to and implement a scalable data strategy to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Lead the design and optimization of data infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture to ensure reliability and scalability. Oversee the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including predictive models, to generate actionable insights. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to integrate data-driven decision-making into all aspects of the business. Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations. Enhance metrics to track data quality, performance, and alignment with business objectives. Develop and mentor a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Champion the adoption of modern data technologies, tools, and methodologies to stay ahead in a competitive market. Essential Skills Proven experience in managing and mentoring data teams and driving data strategies at a senior level Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and best practices in data quality management. Strong stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills Experience in Fintech, financial services, or similar industry Familiarity with direct-to-consumer business models and personalization strategies.
