JOB TITLE: Test Engineer Level 1, 4&5 LOCATION: Aberdeen Texo Recruitment are currently on the lookout for Test Engineers with various levels of experience for one of our Aberdeen clients. You will be responsible for Return Inspection, Testing and Recertification of company and customer owned CCU’s and lifting equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Perform Return Inspections on tanks, containers, baskets, skips and lifting equipment Visually inspect lifting equipment as well CCU’s; tanks, containers, lifting slings and shackles Remove damaged slings and shackles from CCU’s and fit replacements Carry out goods receipt inspection on slings and shackles and store them on racks Complete daily records of equipment inspected and tested and to prepare NDT reports Carry out NDT testing of lifting lug welds using MPI techniques Undertake minor repairs, maintenance and aesthetics improvements. (see over for typical examples) Update completed Inspections using company handheld device Travel to customer sites, both onshore and offshore, to test and inspect customer owned equipment, including any type of Lifting Equipment Skills, Experience&Qualifications Required Strong work ethic High attention to detail Good level of fitness as this job is labour intensive Certified to carry out multiple NDE of welds&casts (MP/LP&ET/UT) B1 Forklift License as a minimum Benefits Private health care Cycling to work scheme Discounts at various stores Recognition Rewards Interested and would like to hear more?
