Supplier Contracts Manager Up to £75,000 plus car allowance and bonus Hybrid (Multiple locations across the South and Midlands) Are you an experienced contracts professional with a strong strategic procurement mindset? We are seeking a Supplier Contracts Manager to support our procurement function by driving commercial success, ensuring robust contracts, and enabling operational excellence across a broad and varied portfolio. Key Responsibilities Sit within a central team, providing strategic procurement support and guidance across the business. Lead contract negotiations, managing a downstream model that involves drafting supplier contracts from scratch. Interpret and analyse contract terms to identify opportunities for commercial wins and operational improvements. Support a variety of procurement categories, including complex IT infrastructure, consultancy spend, and professional services. Collaborate across the entire business, offering variety and challenge in facing into the procurement function. Advise on contractual approaches, such as terminations, disputes, and restructures, while ensuring compliance with governance processes. Help shape new strategies and ways of working following a team restructure, bringing leadership and expertise to the role. Manage high volumes of contracts and provide mentorship to team members, fostering growth and development without direct line management. Build strong stakeholder relationships, balancing a firm but fair approach with the ability to navigate difficult conversations effectively. Essential Skills and Qualifications Professional qualification with significant experience in buy-side commercial contracting across multiple sectors. Strong understanding of commercial contracts and procurement strategies, with the ability to operate effectively at a senior level. Skilled in negotiating and drafting contracts tailored to complex and varied business needs. Experience working in diverse sectors and handling high-volume workloads. High level of self-awareness, with the ability to mentor colleagues and adapt to new strategies and processes. Confident in pushing back on stakeholders constructively while maintaining collaborative relationships.
