We are excited to partner with a respected law firm that specialises in personal injury claims. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Industrial Disease Solicitor to join their growing team. Role Overview: As an Industrial Disease Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice to individuals affected by a range of industrial diseases, such as asbestos-related conditions, respiratory diseases, and occupational cancers. Your role will involve working closely with clients to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve while navigating the complexities of industrial disease claims. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of industrial disease claims from inception to settlement. Advise clients on various industrial diseases, including asbestos-related diseases, respiratory illnesses, and hearing loss, ensuring clear communication throughout the legal process. Draft and review legal documents, including claim forms, medical reports, and settlement agreements. Work with medical professionals, experts, and barristers to strengthen cases. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when necessary. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, showing empathy and understanding of their circumstances. Stay updated on industry changes, legal precedents, and regulations surrounding industrial disease claims. Qualifications: Qualified solicitor (1 PQE) with experience in industrial disease law. A genuine interest in helping individuals affected by occupational illnesses. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to show empathy and understanding to clients. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
