Role Overview: In this pivotal role, you will manage a talented technical team made up of 2 people, ensuring the implementation of top-tier food safety, quality, and compliance standards. Working closely with cross-functional departments, you’ll set the strategic direction for technical initiatives, guiding the site to consistently meet and exceed regulatory and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Technical team, developing clear succession plans and fostering a culture of quality assurance. Oversee and implement technical systems, ensuring BRC-grade audit readiness and alignment with regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement across production quality and food safety standards. Develop and manage the technical budget, aligning with overall business goals. Engage in customer-focused initiatives, contributing to high customer satisfaction by reducing site complaints. Execute a robust compliance and auditing program, including root cause analysis and preventative actions. Who You Are: A degree holder in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior technical role within the food manufacturing sector. Knowledgeable in BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP with experience in regulatory compliance.
