The team is expected to be on-site 2-days a week, working core hours of 9AM-5:30PM GMT. Candidate's will be responsible for building front-end, web-based applications by developing new code to enhance features and functionality, as well as, re-engineering legacy code for existing complex applications. You will support the ongoing operations and maintenance of multiple projects at any given time. This role will require updates and maintenance to existing applications, as well as supporting the architecture and development of new software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience coding React, JavaScript, and Typescript. You will utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and to cut down the team's backlog of tickets. This team exclusively works in an agile environment so candidates must be familiar working in an agile methodology with daily stand-ups, expectations met during 2-week sprints, and collaboration during sprint retrospectives. Candidates must come from an enterprise-level institution with a good understanding of system design. Candidates should have exceptional problem solving capabilities from a software development perspective, as well as a deep understanding of software development techniques, concepts, and principals. This role works in a collaborative team environment with the expectation of individual contribution among all skill levels. Ability to pick up and learn new technologies is highly recommended.
