The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of digital platforms, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and deliver exceptional user experiences. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll tackle technical challenges head-on and contribute to the company’s continued growth.

This role is well-suited to a highly skilled and autonomous individual with extensive experience in both backend and frontend development, eager to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-performing backend and frontend systems for web and mobile platforms.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Lead the introduction of cutting-edge technologies and solutions to keep the company ahead of the curve.
• Product Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to refine and enhance digital platforms, boosting user engagement and driving business growth.
• End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for your projects, from planning to deployment, ensuring delivery within deadlines and quality standards.
• Platform Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance platform performance, scalability, and security.
• Team Development: Mentor and guide junior developers, nurturing a collaborative and growth-oriented engineering culture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with expertise across backend and frontend technologies.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, as well as an understanding of DevOps practices and Azure cloud services
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Webpack for frontend development.
• Proven track record in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects with minimal guidance.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud environments like AWS or Azure.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in high-growth D2C businesses or Subscription based E-Commerce business
• Familiarity with advanced web development frameworks and methodologies.
• Success in scaling platforms to meet the demands of fast-growing organizations.

Salary: £70-90k + Bonus

Flexible working: Remote (UK based - occasional meet-ups required in London)
