Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Consultancy&Bespoke Projects Industry: EV Charging Projects Location: Hybrid - London Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (plus bonus and benefits) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of bespoke EV charging projects for prestigious clients and other high-profile accounts. This role involves managing complex projects from concept through to delivery, with a strong focus on consultancy, stakeholder management, and commercial oversight. You’ll take ownership of pre-construction activities, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery while working closely with operational teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction&Development: Lead pre-construction development activities, including concept design, local planning permissions, and client approvals. Coordinate DNO and planning applications with supply chains and consultants. Project Management: Manage EV charging projects at key account sites from concept through to delivery. Work with operations teams and external supply chains to ensure installations meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Track progress and report to programme managers on key deliverables. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement with key account stakeholders for assigned projects. Represent the company professionally while managing diverse stakeholders with varying objectives. Commercial Oversight: Own the financials for projects, modelling business cases and securing necessary approvals from senior management and investors. Ensure alignment with project budgets and commercial targets. About You Knowledge&Skills: A diligent professional with the ability to lead complex projects and make confident, informed decisions. Technical understanding of EV charging, DNOs, ICPs, or iDNOs is desirable. Experience in construction projects and familiarity with the UK planning system is beneficial. Awareness of CDM regulations and their application. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools. Attributes: Strong personal and communication skills. A problem-solver with the confidence to lead and the self-awareness to seek advice when needed. Qualifications&Experience Essential: Minimum of 3 years' project management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Degree in a relevant field (STEM, Business, or equivalent industry experience). Familiarity with business case/commercial analysis. Desirable: Project Management qualifications (PMQ, APM, Prince2) or professional memberships (CIOB, RICS, IEE). Experience with the UK planning system and construction processes.
