Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:Safety first - Going home safe and wellClient focus - Deliver on our promiseIntegrity - Always do the right thingCreate opportunity - For our people to excelSenior manager - information management will be responsible for leading and managing the information management (IM) function, developing an IM strategy, policy, procedures, standards (including ISO 19650), an IM management plan, and processes for client-facing projects and programmes, and leading the delivery of the IM discipline for client projects/programmes. Providing leadership and direction across the IM function and supporting and mentoring the IM team.You’ll be responsible for:Defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (inc ISO19650 and ISO27001) and processes set.Developing and implementing a document control system for the project/programme.Training project/programme colleagues in IM practices, tools and processes and driving awareness and continuous improvement.Developing and managing staff with the IM function, driving the appropriate behaviour to achieve success.Implementing a programmatic approach to document control.Aligning document control with other information requirements and mandatory compliance requirements.Establishing information management processes and approach for use by the supply chain.Ensuring all information is exchangeable, available and useable by the relevant individuals.Linking to the BIM agenda and ensuring alignment of the common data environment to other information requirements.Contributing to the global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge processes and case studiesDeveloping the IM strategy and information management plan, along with other key information governance documentation.Developing IM training content and materials to drive awareness and continuous improvement.Collaborating with teams and build key stakeholder relationships to understand concerns and challenges.Managing the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.Ensuring a good understanding of the information architecture and flow of information.Developing appropriate retention and disposal schedules.Providing advice on information management issues and promote best information management practice.Ensuring information management processes are kept up to date and reviewed regularly to ensure they are fit for purpose.Conducting information audits to ensure assets are safeguarded and the appropriate controls are applied.You’ll need to have:Information management experience across a number of projects and programmes.Information architectureGood understanding and experience of ISO19650 AND ISO27001Naming, numbering, filing conventions.Big project and programme experience in IM and document control.Experience helping to set up the document control and IM function.Good written and oral communication skills.Disciplined in running IM processes.Subject expert experience in key IM software such as Aconex, Asite, ViewPoint.Digital savviness.Ability to build lasting client relationships and to lead strong motivated teams.You’ll also have:Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM, Assoc of Information Managers.Subject matter expert in key IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, etc.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
