What you’ll do Review, update, and create policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational clarity across jurisdictions Oversee governance processes for policy approval, including managing Policies and Procedures Committees Lead and support initiatives to develop new services in response to client needs, regulatory changes, or service line growth, with a focus on fund services solutions Work closely with internal legal counsel to analyse and map legal and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of compliance and identifying areas for policy enhancement Deliver or coordinate training to ensure teams understand and implement policies effectively, encouraging engagement and feedback Maintain and improve templates, checklists, and processes, leveraging technology such as document automation to optimise usability Assist in identifying and managing risks and controls to ensure frameworks are in place to safeguard operations and enhance client service delivery Collaborate with Business Services teams (e.g., Risk, Compliance, HR) to ensure alignment in legal and regulatory compliance efforts Implement workflow and process improvements to drive efficiency and consistency across the organisation Stay updated on changes in legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement in policies and procedures What you’ll need Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a legal qualification, although governance, compliance, or accounting qualifications will also be considered Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a regulated business or a legal background advising corporate services businesses Strong technical skills and proven expertise in drafting policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts A genuine desire to support and help others while maintaining a client-focused mindset and high ethical standards Detail-oriented with advanced analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, effectively managing your workload while contributing to team goals An interest in technology, with enthusiasm for using and adapting to new systems, is advantageous What you’ll receive Competitive salary What’s next?
