An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented commercial lawyer to join the legal team of one of the UK’s largest media companies. You will be joining a collaborative legal team comprised of five lawyers reporting into the Head of Legal. Responsibilities will include negotiating a broad range of contracts and advising on a wide variety of issues in a client facing role, including advertising technology, sponsorship, M&A, digital, licensing, SaaS / PaaS, intellectual property, and marketing matters. The work is interesting and fast paced and exposure to senior leadership is guaranteed You will mentor and manage junior members of the team. Ideally you will be between 5 to 9 PQE with strong commercial private practice experience and training. In-house/ secondment experience is beneficial but not essential, however you will need to be a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working in fast-paced, dynamic environments. This role provides an excellent first step in-house with scope for progression within the business and hands-on experience with key commercial stakeholders.
