About the Company - The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) accelerates the transition to Net-Zero mobility by fostering innovation and investment in the UK automotive sector. Join us as a Senior Investment Principal and play a pivotal role in connecting private investors with cutting-edge innovations in Net-Zero and Connected Autonomous Mobility (CAM). Responsibilities: Lead Innovation Investment: Position the APC as a key player in early and venture-stage private investor engagement for the UK automotive and Net-Zero mobility sectors. Build Strategic Relationships: Develop strong networks with private investors and key stakeholders, becoming the APC’s link to the private investment community. Create Impactful Insights: Gather and share investment insights, enhancing APC’s knowledge base and influence across the sector. Catalyze Growth: Enable UK automotive and mobility companies to access increased private investment and drive innovation. Deliver Engagement Activities: Design and execute knowledge-sharing events and networking initiatives that connect investors with transformative automotive innovations. Support Internal Excellence: Collaborate with colleagues to embed investor engagement into APC’s operations, ensuring impactful outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Measure Success: Track and report on KPIs, delivering on time, on budget, and to quality. Develop case studies to showcase APC’s contributions to innovation and investment growth. Required Skills Proven ability to design and lead complex programmes or events with multiple stakeholders. A strong network in the private investment and innovation sectors. Strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills. Experience in driving investment into innovation, ideally in automotive or technology ecosystems. Ability to communicate insights effectively and inspire action among internal and external audiences. Results-driven, with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
