Role: Senior Associate/Partner – Contested Probate Solicitor (4-Day Week at 100% Salary) Location: Flexible and remote working with offices in London and Manchester Salary range: £70,000.00 - £100,000.00 plus bonuses About our Client My client is a forward-thinking, full-service law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to a multicultural and international client base. The Role This is a senior leadership opportunity designed for a motivated solicitor who thrives on both legal excellence and business development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in growing the Private Client team, leveraging expertise in contentious probate and cross-border matters while integrating technology to enhance efficiency and client experience. Key Responsibilities: • Department Growth and Innovation: o Develop and execute a strategic plan for expanding the department, focusing on new business generation and cross-border cases. o Leverage technology and innovative solutions to streamline workflows and improve client service delivery. o Act as a thought leader within the firm, championing advancements in legal tech and client care practices. • Client and Case Management: o Provide top-tier legal advice in high-value, complex contested probate cases, including those with international dimensions. o Utilise your existing client following to enhance the firm’s client portfolio and revenue streams. o Maintain the highest standard of client satisfaction through exceptional communication and service. • Team Leadership and Mentorship: o Lead, supervise, and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. o Drive team productivity through effective delegation, feedback, and professional development initiatives. o Manage the department’s resources and ensure high standards in legal services and compliance. Desired Skills and Qualifications: • 10 years of PQE in contentious probate. • Proven client following with a history of generating and sustaining new business. • Experience in cross-border and international probate matters. • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams. • Technology-savvy with a keen interest in leveraging legal tech to enhance departmental operations and client service. • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
