Their powerful, reliable and user-friendly operating system ensures that their ever growing customer base can harness the power of SMS and mobile payments. From the smallest, to some of the largest businesses worldwide, they have been helping companies communicate and generate revenue since 2004. This business is an innovative telco specialising in Bulk SMS, Voice and Mobile Billing with clients all around the world, Israel, Europe, Australia, South Africa to name a few. This is a small team of industry experts that work together as a family from London, Cape Town, Melbourne and Guernsey. We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate and highly numerical industry expert to join our Bulk SMS team. Account Management Responsibilities: Looking after the day-to-day queries/requests of our existing clients Building long-term relationships with our existing clients Gaining a deep understanding of customer spend (i.e. where they send, how often, our cost, the price they pay etc) Evaluate&negotiate prices with both clients&suppliers to maximize profits Track daily metrics (SMS sent, delivered, failed…) and act accordingly Assist with challenging client requests or issues Working with the tech team to: Improve existing software in line with feedback from clients Develop new software in line with the specifications of our clients Sales Responsibilities: Converting inbound leads to clients Up and cross-selling different services to clients Administrative Responsibilities: Authorising and approving supplier invoices and generating customer invoices Check customer/supplier data, update customer profiles when appropriate Working with finance to collect outstanding invoices The successful candidate will: have 3 years’ experience in a sales/account management/financial management have at least an honours degree or equivalent in the field of science, maths, accounting or engineering work autonomously with the support of our CEO and Head of IT be people-oriented and enjoy connecting with and engaging clients from all over the world, whether it’s over lunch, during a meeting or demo, or whilst at a conference love technology and be willing to learn and understand software applications be happy juggling responsibilities across sales, account management and the administrative tasks have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal have experience in the tech industry with preference for Telecommunications be proficient with Microsoft Excel have the ability to manage multiple account management tasks at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills be good arithmetic love travelling and attending trade shows, industry events and parties be 100% Fluent in English. Other languages are preferred Basic coding language/programming knowledge and advanced computer skills. (i.e. image corrections, database queries, system administration) is a HUGE plus.
