Sales Manager - Energy Storage Location: Office-based with travel | Full UK driving license desirable | Starting ASAP Type: Permanent About Us: We are on a mission to help the UK achieve a sustainable net-zero carbon future with our intelligent solar battery storage product. Our company has 10 years of experience in the market and was the first in the UK to offer solar battery storage systems to homeowners with photovoltaic (PV) solar panels. We help businesses and homeowners reduce their energy bills, cut their carbon footprint, and lower their electricity demands on the National Grid. Our modular energy storage system can be scaled to meet the unique needs of our customers, providing flexibility and growth potential. The Role: We are seeking an experienced B2B Business Development Manager to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include increasing active channel partners by onboarding new Renewable Energy Technology Installers who share our values, managing our existing Approved Installer Network, and increasing share of wallet with existing partners. You will also be responsible for our lead sharing process, connecting end users with our installer network, and supporting business-to-business marketing drives as well as our B2C channel when required. Key Responsibilities: Engage and onboard new installer partners in line with the B2B go-to-market strategy. Increase share of wallet and unit sales volume through existing Approved Installer Partners. Grow the network of Approved Installers strategically to achieve national coverage while minimizing regional competition. Arrange meetings and present to potential customers with support if/when needed. Answer inbound enquiries from the website. Manage existing sales pipelines. Feed into the development of marketing channels. Support the overall sales process where required, including direct-to-consumer work. Requirements: We are looking for an individual with industry experience, preferably from an installer or wholesaler background within the renewables space. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the clean tech industry, eager to work in an SME environment, and ready to take on various challenges. You should be ambitious, resilient, and results-driven, with strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with CRM systems or Google suite tools is preferred. Experience (Preferred): Demonstrable success in running B2B account management and sales processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
