About the Role This Band 6 rotational post offers an incredible opportunity to develop your expertise across a variety of specialisms, including: Waltham Forest Community SLT: Supporting patients at home, in care homes, and in outpatient settings. Integrated Stroke Pathway: Working with stroke patients in the inpatient unit and during their transition to home-based care. Inpatient Acute Care: Including ICU settings. You’ll provide specialist assessment and treatment for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. ✅ What We’re Looking For Essential Criteria: Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree and HCPC license to practice. Experience with adult communication and swallowing disorders. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Knowledge of national policies and procedures in stroke, frailty, and adult neurology. Desirable Criteria: Experience with tracheostomy, videofluoroscopy, and/or FEES.
