Are you ready to make an impact?About The RoleThe FTI Consulting UK Technology team is seeking to recruit an energetic, self-starting team player to join the London practice who is enthusiastic about playing a key leadership role within the growth of our managed document review offering in Europe. The FTI Technology managed document review offering provides a comprehensive, predictable approached to managed document review, combining FTI’s advanced technologies, custom workflows and deep consulting experience into a single solution for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified lawyer with at least three years of review management experience. This Senior Acuity Review Manager position is a part of FTI Consulting’s UK Technology team. What You’ll DoAct as the functional lead for the managed document review offering in the UK Work with the global managed document review leadership team, and the EMEA Technology leadership team, to develop, and execute on, the strategy for the managed review offering in the UK and Europe. Support the business development team to market managed document review to FTI’s clients, including during client pitches, at conferences, in thought leadership etc. Interview, select and assist with on-boarding review contractors. Create and monitor timelines for completion of various phases of review. Work with team creating initial budget for case and adherence to that budget. Communicate with the end-client, either corporation, outside counsel or both. Implement and supervise a quality control protocol. Identify, and mitigate, areas of potential risk to FTI during the document review. Monitor review speeds and progress, and report to the client on a regular basis. Make, and execute, decisions regarding review team size throughout the duration of a project. Be customer service oriented to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary. Travel, including at short notice, as required to ensure effective management of case activities. As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.What You Will Need to SucceedThe following additional experience would be beneficial to a candidate: Experience using Ringtail Experience with Technology Assisted Review, including concept clustering, analytics and predictive coding, to develop strategies to identify the most responsive documents quickly and efficiently Speaks/reads languages in addition to English Have supervised a foreign language review Litigation, competition / anti-trust, or regulatory inquiry experience. Basic Qualifications: Significant experience with legal document review and eDiscovery 2:1 degree in law or a technology focused subject such as computer science, forensic computing or information systems, or equivalent experience Self-developer that demonstrates an ability to solve complex problems with well thought out innovative solutions Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively Good communicator who can perform in a client facing role Flexible with working hours and has the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
