Job Title: Retail Sales Manager (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN SCOTLAND) At Stamp Free our objective is to develop long-term relationships and revenue streams by selling into and integrating the Stamp Free Digital Shipping Solution™ with target postal, carrier, retail and other logistics companies. We are looking for a proven Sales professional who can effectively engage with retail companies predominantly in the UK. The right individual will understand returns and the logistical side of returns processing. We pride ourselves on providing innovative solutions that pushes the market towards a customer-focused model. The role is for individuals who live in Scotland and will for the majority of the time be remote-based, but occasional international travel will be required to attend events, conferences, and team meetings. Experience: We’re looking for a vibrant, experienced self-starter with knowledge of the retail sales channels for high street brands and on line vendors. To create a sales plan, manage the introduction of our solutions, the sales forecasting and to support the logistics and delivery of the product. The suitable candidate will have worked in a SaaS solutions company in a sales role or more likely, have worked for a technology company selling technology solutions to retailers. Critically the right individual will have a successful track record of credibly selling technology solutions into the retail sector across the UK. Key responsibilities: · To credibly and successfully sell the Stamp Free Digital Shipping Solution™ to retail companies. · Search for sales prospects across the industry, across all geographies, seeking out innovative use cases in addition to creating leads with retail companies · To develop and manage client relationships · To develop and manage partner relationships · Deliver significant growth from both existing and new clients. · Formulate sales plan and an accurate forecasting pipeline. · Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives. · Align with other members of the organisation to support overall company revenue targets. · Travel to conferences and clients when necessary to strengthen relationships. Key skills: • Proven track record in delivering a successful new retail channel sales role. • Proven ability to successfully sell technology solutions to retail companies. • A sales-focused individual with a strong track record in successful lead generation. • In-depth knowledge of the retail industry, with relevant and solid contacts. • Commercially and politically astute – delivers but can see wider organisational perspective and advises and behaves accordingly. • Ability to engage well with Exec level stakeholders, with gravitas to build confidence and close relationships. • Self-driven with a result-orientated mindset and the ability to work independently. • The ability to sell using clear, simple language whilst understanding the detail, functionality and benefits of the products they are selling. • Great interpersonal, communications and messaging skills, particularly the ability to be robust under challenge without being disruptive. These skills will be strong both in verbal and written form, with the skills to deliver complex messages simply. • Proficient in using CRM Software and Microsoft 365 products. To be able to take a reasonably flexible approach to carrying out their responsibilities recognising that he/she is working for an early-stage company and that work that needs to be done, gets done by whomsoever is in a position to do it. Location: Scotland based. With a requirement for occasional global travel (usually for conference attendance). Remuneration: Flexible and aligned around current market rates, with an associated long term reward structure.
