Real Estate Dispute Resolution Solicitor (4 Years PQE) Department: Real Estate Dispute Resolution Location: Reading Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Dispute Resolution Solicitor with 4 years' PQE to join its dynamic Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in their Reading office. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of contentious property matters for clients, including property companies, corporate occupiers, and private clients. Key responsibilities will include: Managing real estate disputes, including: Residential and commercial lease disputes. Disputes arising from the buying and selling of land. Disputes related to the development of land. Taking ownership of caseloads and fostering strong client relationships. Analysing complex legal issues and providing sound, commercially focused decisions. Identifying risks and addressing potential challenges while maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues. Adhering to quality standards, ensuring accurate client billing, and time recording in accordance with SRA and Law Society requirements. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications: A law degree (or conversion) and LPC. Admission to the Roll of Solicitors. 4 years' PQE in property litigation or real estate dispute resolution (more senior candidates will also be considered). Skills&Experience: Proven experience managing real estate disputes, demonstrating property litigation expertise. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Commercial awareness with the ability to adjust legal strategies based on client needs. Familiarity with financial targets, billing, and time recording. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, concise advice.
