Project Manager – Flood Alleviation - £80k - £90k package Our Contractor specializes in delivering innovative solutions for environmental and infrastructure challenges. Unite People are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead flood alleviation projects, ensuring communities are safeguarded against the impacts of flooding. If you’re passionate about managing critical infrastructure projects and making a tangible difference, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities: Manage all stages of flood alleviation projects, from feasibility to completion. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and environmental specialists. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and technical specifications. Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community representatives. Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates. Oversee procurement processes and manage contractor performance. Ensure project outcomes meet sustainability and quality standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in managing flood alleviation or water infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of flood risk management techniques and environmental legislation. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
