Production Director - Creative Events industry Location: SW London Working Model: Predominantly office-based (2/3 of time in the office). Full-time position. Salary: up to £65,000 About the Role As the Creative Production Director , you will lead the delivery of large-scale projects and activations, ensuring excellence from pitch to wrap-up. You’ll manage teams, inspire creativity, and ensure projects are executed on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations. This role is for a leader with a keen eye for detail, a knack for creative problem-solving, and the ability to motivate teams. You’ll report directly to the senior leadership team and collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Drive the delivery of high-profile events and activations, signing off timelines, budgets, and proposals (under £100k). Team Management: Oversee team workload, provide mentorship, and foster learning opportunities for junior staff. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic account management. Supplier Management: Negotiate costs and manage suppliers, including set build, lighting, tech, and stylists. Onsite Supervision: Manage UK and international activations, ensuring smooth execution and resolving issues promptly. Process Optimization: Implement systems to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency. Creative Input: Support pitches and proposal development, ensuring high-quality and innovative presentations. Sustainability: Advocate for environmentally responsible production practices. Culture Contribution: Shape the company culture, lead team activities, and contribute to our inspiring work environment. What We’re Looking For Experience: At least 10 years in an event or experiential agency, delivering integrated campaigns with a proven track record of success. Leadership: Exceptional ability to inspire and manage teams, foster collaboration, and drive performance. Creativity: A portfolio of innovative ideas and the ability to translate brand visions into unforgettable experiences. Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills for pitching and client management. Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., CRM, Asana) and creative applications. Resilience: Thrives under pressure, adapts to challenges, and maintains focus on deadlines.
