What You’ll Do: Lead product safety assurance for equipment design, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Provide expert safety guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders. Integrate safety considerations throughout the product lifecycle. Manage and evolve the Project Safety Management System (PSMS). Resolve safety engineering challenges and prepare technical reports. Develop robust safety cases for complex systems. Ensure adherence to safety standards and legislation. Your Skills and Experience: Proven expertise in Product Safety Engineering with a track record of delivering PSMS in complex systems. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations (e.g., HASAWA, COSHH, REACh, Def Stan 00-056, BS EN 61508). Degree in Engineering, Systems, or a Safety-related discipline. Desirable: Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience. Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., SCSC, SaRS, IET, IMechE). What’s in it for you?
