Chemical / Petrochemical / Heavy Engineering Permanent North West Permanent Key Responsibilities Ensure all process/technical team outputs meet project specifications and comply with regulatory safety standards. Supervise the creation of process system designs, reviewing deliverables such as technical specs, calculations (e.g., volumes, flow rates), design reports, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment lists/RFQs/selection. Lead design reviews to confirm systems meet project requirements. Review and approve all process/technical work scopes and specifications. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all related business activities. Accurately schedule and manage project resources, monitor task completion timelines, and support budget control within the assigned area. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree (BEng Hons) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Extensive experience in designing and delivering process systems. Proven track record in leading engineering teams for projects exceeding £5m in value. Deep understanding of construction and process industries, including relevant standards.
