About the Role: The Portfolio Manager for Zesty Paws will play a pivotal role in overseeing both new and existing products. This individual will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic plans to optimize the product portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations, and effectively communicating the science behind the products. They will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Ecommerce, to drive the success of the pet supplement business. Core Responsibilities: Portfolio Strategy and Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives. Conduct regular market analysis and competitor assessments to identify trends and opportunities. Evaluate product performance, sales data, and customer feedback to recommend portfolio adjustments. New Product Development: Collaborate with R&D to identify and prioritize new product opportunities. Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Conduct market research to validate product concepts and ensure alignment with customer needs. Scientific Communication: Translate scientific information into consumer-friendly content for marketing materials. Collaborate with the wider marketing teams to develop educational content highlighting the science behind the products. Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory to ensure product compliance with local and international regulations. Manage label changes in coordination with Regulatory Affairs and Design teams. Cross-functional Collaboration: Assist the commercial teams across Europe to build product and innovation strategies. Work closely with Ecommerce/Sales to understand customer feedback and market dynamics. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop and implement effective product marketing campaigns. Liaise with the Quality and Regulatory Affairs team to address compliance issues promptly.
