Job Title: Manager, Patient Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement Location: Berkshire, West London (hybrid model) This global, mid-sized pharmaceutical company is looking for a Manager, Patient Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement to join their team in the UK. This position will sit in the Medical Affairs team and report into the Medical Excellence Director. About the Role In this role, you will carry out strategic planning, patient advocacy and stakeholder initiatives in the Rare Diseases space, in order to understand and respond to patient's needs. Key Responsibilities Identify valuable patient advocacy and stakeholder collaboration opportunities that support business objectives. Identify relevant Patient Advocacy Groups and National Government initiatives in Rare Diseases, aligning with patient organizations. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive patient advocacy and stakeholder plans tailored to Rare Diseases. Implement innovative ideas, programmes and initiatives to enhance the company's reputation in Rare Diseases, ensuring alignment with patient needs and brand objectives. Internal collaboration - ensuring consistency in patient advocacy and stakeholder initiatives across teams internally. Ensure high quality processes, guidelines and SOPs surrounding patient advocacy and stakeholder activities. Comply with ethical, legal, regulatory and industry standards. Role Requirements 5-10 years' pharmaceutical industry experience (ideally in patient advocacy, stakeholder engagement, medical affairs). Proven experience in developing and implementing advocacy strategies and engagement plans. Proven experience in liaising and collaborating with patient advocacy organisations. Strong relationship building skills (both internally and externally). Ability to bring innovative and creative ideas. Knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical, regulatory and legal environments.
