About the Job The Operations Manager will oversee daily operational activities, focusing on logistics and distribution while ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and health and safety standards. This role involves enhancing supply chain performance, managing vendor relationships, mitigating risks, and driving operational excellence. Duties will include: Overseeing inbound and outbound supply chain operations to ensure timely, accurate delivery of goods. Ensuring compliance with GDP principles and health and safety regulations. Collaborating with the Distribution Centre Manager to optimise storage and product movement. Streamlining supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Managing health and safety procedures, conducting audits, and providing employee training. Overseeing facility maintenance, security, and vendor relationships. Monitoring budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics. About the Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or pharmaceutical science, coupled with at least three years of experience in facilities and health&safety management. Experience in GDP-regulated environments and a health and safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH) are preferred. Strong organisational, communication, and project management skills are essential.
