This is a rapidly growing division and requires the Operations Manager to help steer and deliver and grow with business.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"><strong style"font-weight:700;">Key Responsibilities</strong></span></div><div><br></div><ul style"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;"><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that equipment, premises, and employees adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Ensure we pro-actively achieve Vp Group audit and ESS/HS Compliance, Business Systems requirements and enforce environmental policy.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Ensure the optimum level of equipment availability is achieved through effective management and maintenance of the hire fleet.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Work with both operations and the commercial teams to ensure that we are exceeding expectations with our customers’ needs in terms of product innovation and management.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Working with the commercial team to reduce fleet obsolescence and support asset disposal.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Prepare CAPEX case submission with a view to introducing additional assets to the ESS fleet.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Provide support and information to colleagues and customers regarding new assets added to the fleet.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Support the commercial team with Supplier management: ensure competitive pricing is achieved.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Liaise with the Finance and Commercial departments to create supplier agreements where appropriate.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Support the Business Development team in winning and retaining national and customer accounts where applicable.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Support and ensure disciplined cost management is effectively controlled within the TMI business.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Provide compliance with all aspects of property management, ensuring that maintenance schedules are adhered to and all contractual obligations are met.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Create and develop a suite of procedures documenting all TMI operational processes.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">When considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"><strong style"font-weight:700;">What We’re Looking For</strong></span></div><div><br></div><ul style"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;"><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Demonstrate significant experience in the Hire sector, Test and Measurement industry or equivalent</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Manufacturer training desirable</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Technical background: Electro / Mechanical / Process etc.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">An electronic, mechanical, or engineering qualification is desirable.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Educated to relevant level / equivalent experience.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Management / Leadership experience</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities: encouraging, collaborative and able to inspire team with company strategy and goals.</span></li><li><span style"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Outstanding relationship building with influencing skills both internally and externally.
