Operations Executive (Supplier Account Manager) - hybrid position based at our offices in Greenwich, London The opportunity As an Operations Executive (Supplier Account Manager), you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic and fast-paced Operations Department. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you’ll oversee supplier relationships and communications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations that align with our mission to deliver life-changing travel experiences. Responsibilities: The primary duty of the Supplier Account Managers effectively manage all local suppliers within their regions, ensuring supplier standards are maintained, and constantly seek to improve the experiences through active management. You are responsible to ensure all day-to-day communications with suppliers including sending booking updates, feedback, updating booking systems, managing booking allocations according to contracted terms and conditions, ensuring timely supplier payments in coordination with the Accounts Department Dealing with ad-hoc issues or requests. Responsibilities will also include some procurement tasks as required under the direction of the Procurement Manager. Responsible for being proactive in developing professional supplier relationships, and will be expected to travel to locations throughout Europe, or locally within the UK, to attend meetings and/or industry events. Work closely with the Contracts Managers within the procurement team, and the Supplier Information Coordinators in the operations team, Transport team and on the road Crew team. Essential Skills&Requirements 2-3 years experience in a similar role, or within tour operations/coordination the Travel Industry Travel experience (either personal or professional) within Europe and/or other key destinations Negotiation skills - experience in negotiating preferential terms and conditions that are mutually beneficial and financially favorable is desirable Ability to work well under pressure and make calm and informed decisions Ability to use initiative and think outside the box Ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication&relationship building skills Time-management and organizational skills Self-discipline - Continue towards meeting your objectives without being prompted to do so.
