Pawfy is seeking a Mid-Weight Video Editor who thrives in a collaborative environment and can bring creative flair and technical expertise to our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing : Edit UGC-style videos and VSLs with compelling storytelling and attention-grabbing visuals. Assemble raw footage, apply cuts, and structure edits to deliver high-quality content. Motion Graphics : Create and integrate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to enhance videos. Design on-brand animations for transitions, intros, and call-to-actions. Stock Footage and Sound : Source and integrate high-quality stock footage, sound effects, and music to complement video content. Maintain a library of royalty-free assets for efficient project turnaround. Color Grading : Enhance video quality through advanced color correction and grading for consistency and tone. Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and evoke the desired emotional impact. Optimization for Platforms : Deliver content optimized for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), ensuring proper formatting, aspect ratios, and timing. Adapt edits to fit performance-driven goals (e.g., engagement rates, click-through rates). Collaboration : Work closely with creative teams, marketers, and copywriters to align video content with campaign objectives. Take feedback constructively and apply revisions efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in video editing, focusing on UGC, VSLs, or similar formats. A portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles, motion graphics, and color grading. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard tools. Basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or similar software for advanced color grading. Familiarity with stock asset platforms (e.g., Artgrid, Storyblocks) and sound libraries. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives for performance marketing. Nice to Haves: Experience editing in high-volume or e-commerce environments.
