Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress to meet key milestones. Coordinate project resources, including workforce, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment of engineering activities with project goals. Conduct regular project meetings to update stakeholders, address issues, and support decision-making processes. Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary. Prepare and present project progress reports for senior management and clients. Identify areas for process improvement and introduce best practices to enhance project efficiency and outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the energy or power sectors. Advanced project management expertise, encompassing planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams effectively. In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles, best practices, and relevant industry standards. Proficient in using project management software and related tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
