PE Global is recruiting a Mechanical Technician for our oil and gas client based in Inverurie. The role is an initial 9 month contract and if successful will be a permanent position. The rate for this role is £13.05. Responsibilities of the role: Follow blueprints, diagrams, and other documents to assemble equipment accurately. Build hydraulic systems according to designs, maintaining cleanliness. Monitor materials and products to detect defects. Contribute to on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and quality cost management. Complete tasks to meet targets set by the Cell Leader. Use the engineering support system to report and improve design issues. Follow inspection criteria, policies, and procedures without exception. Requirements: Time served apprenticeship NC in a relevant subject Have a background in a mechanical based profession Ability to operate basic hand and power tools Forklift and overhead crane certificates Please note we cannot assist with sponsorship for any role.
