We are seeking an experienced Marine Sales Administrator to join our team in January 2025. This is a permanent, office-based role offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including Sales Managers, Service Engineers, and customers, via phone and email. Review incoming customer requests, identify discrepancies, and provide timely, accurate responses. Clarify and address customer requirements, ensuring product features and specifications are well understood. Prepare and verify quotations in line with discount policies and Sales Manager guidelines. Submit quotations and ensure follow-up by Sales Managers as needed. Process customer purchase orders and communicate updates to dispatch and warehouse teams. Prepare shipping documents and support customers with order updates. Compile presentations, technical materials, and drawings to support quotations. Handle sales returns, credits, and risk assessments, completing order checklists. Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure project success and streamline processes. Review team quotations to ensure accuracy in cost and pricing. Required Skills&Experience: Proven experience in sales administration within a technical or engineering environment. Familiarity with shipping processes in the UK and Europe, including Ireland. Strong customer service skills and ERP system proficiency (Navision or SAP preferred). Experience with Ministry of Defence products is a plus. Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-focused approach. Effective team player, supporting remote Sales Managers and Field Service Engineers. What We Offer: Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent, full-time (36.5 hours/week). Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (08:30 - 16:30) and Friday (08:30 - 15:30).
