Management Accountant £70k Benefits Central London – 3 days a week Marketing LD12651 The opportunity Finatal is retained by a leading Private Equity backed Marketing business looking for a UK Financial Controller to join the team. The company has seen remarkable growth over recent years through a mixture of international expansion and acquisition. They’ve quickly grown to become market leaders in their space and following additional investment are hoping to continue to consolidate the market. This role is in the UK Finance team where you will take on diverse accounting responsibilities, including completing balance sheet reconciliations, managing the 16-week cash flow forecast, overseeing GFCC financial operations, and handling the preparation and submission of VAT returns. There will also be an opportunity to business partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Oversee invoice processing and weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely execution Manage VAT return preparation and compliance with local tax regulations Produce 16-week cash flow reports for liquidity management Oversee fixed asset register, recording, and depreciation Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Oversee supplier finance arrangements Prepare monthly staff cost reports and reconcile them with trial balances Collaborate with global finance teams to analyse revenue and variances across products Prepare monthly financial reports with commentary on variances (staff costs, third-party costs, revenue, cash flow, etc.) Partner with forecasting and budgeting teams Assist with audit preparation, budgeting, and process improvements Requirements ACA, ACCA, CIMA Strong organisational skills High attention to detail Excel/Google Sheets skills with a willingness to learn new technology platforms Accounting, Finance or Business experience a plus Demonstrated alignment with our company values
