<h2>Maintenance Engineer - Bury St Edmunds - Bury St Edmunds</h2>\\n<div>\\nJob Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical / Mechanical\\nLocation: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK,\\nShift:40Hrs per week - Monday to Friday operating a 3-shift pattern.2 weeks of 8am - 4pm followed by 1 week 6am – 2pm, and 1pm-9pm. If we can’t fix it no one can\\nWhat You will be working on:\\n<ul type"disc">\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Drag Chain Conveyors</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Screw conveyors.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Belt and bucket Elevators.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Mixing Equipment</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Weighing Equipment</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Boilers and steam plant</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Electrical Control Panels with Inverters and PLCs</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Compressed air and pneumatic equipment</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Hydraulic equipment</li>\\n</ul>\\nResponsibilities include:\\n<ul type"disc">\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Overall maintenance of the site including both reactive and planned maintenance tasks, fault finding, and small improvement projects, minimising plant downtime</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Supporting the Engineering Manager to ensure health and safety, feed safety and Quality standards are never compromised.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Ensure all work is risk assessed and carried out on safely isolated equipment.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">PPM tasks in accordance with the agreed schedule. In line with our CMMS - Agility</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Be proactive in cooperation with the Operators to agree equipment downtime and availability for maintenance tasks.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that adequate spare parts are held in stock by keeping the stores area organised and reporting parts used and ordering from suppliers.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Contribute to continuous improvement by highlighting/identifying cost saving initiatives or process improvements.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Assist with Control of Contractors, Permits to Work etc.</li>\\n</ul>\\nTo be successful we are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and experience:\\n<ul type"disc">\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Apprenticeship trained, HNC (or equivalent) or time served Engineer – ideally multi-skilled Engineer.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Experience of working with maintenance systems.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">City& Guilds Electrical qualification desired</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Good H&S knowledge in legislation and application (IOSH qualification, desirable) with a safety-first focus.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Desirable if experience but training can be provided.</li>\\n<ul type"circle">\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Confined Space</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Welding/Fabrication Qualifications</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">18th Edition</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">PASAM, FLT, BOAS</li>\\n</ul>\\n</ul>\\nIn return you will get:\\n<ul type"disc">\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Good shift pattern with overtime, call out available additional/potential earnings.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Training provided both internal and external courses.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Full PPE provided including clothing and boots.</li>\\n<li style"color: black; line-height: normal;">Group benefits such as matched pension up to 10%, enhanced family and financial benefits, discount portals and more.</li>\\n</ul>\\nLocation\\nOur sites are rural with minimal public transport therefore ability to access site without the need for public transport will be required.\\n\\n</div>\\nRewarding your passion\\nWhen you join us, you&x27;ll do meaningful work and be rewarded fairly for it.
