Our client is looking for an experienced Export/Logistics Specialist to oversee project logistics, combining strategic planning and hands-on operations to deliver seamless international transportation of goods. Roles/Responsibilities Strategic Project Logistics (30%) Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies for new projects. Prepare detailed cost estimates and spot rates to support the bidding process. Collaborate with sales teams to provide accurate logistics costings for proposals. Offer logistics expertise to support a solutions-based sales approach. Day-to-Day Logistics Operations (70%) Manage international shipments via road, air, and sea freight. Coordinate deliveries to diverse locations, including ports, airports, and installation sites. Oversee relationships with contract manufacturers and 3PL providers. Ensure compliance with tight delivery windows, particularly for live site installations. Provide real-time visibility of goods in transit. Qualifications Minimum 4 years’ experience in logistics or operations, with a focus on international logistics for heavy goods. Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or relevant apprenticeship preferred. CILT Qualification (or actively working towards it). Expertise in export compliance, Incoterms, and shipment documentation. Proven experience coordinating with multiple 3PL providers.
