Logistics Operative – London - £32-35,000 Bonus Ex. Benefits – Permanent About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Operative to join our client’s dynamic Outbound team within the Logistics Department. This role offers a balanced mix of hands-on warehouse work and office-based tasks. You will play a vital role in managing outbound flow, stock control, and shipping processes while ensuring smooth logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Forklift Operations: Use forklifts and lifting equipment (Counterbalance, Sideloader, and Hoist) to load and unload goods, ensuring safe and efficient handling. Goods Management: Manage outbound goods, including packing, sorting, and labelling shipments to meet international standards. Logistics Support: Coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, liaise with couriers like DHL, and arrange logistics for outbound shipments. Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock records using MRP software (e.g., SAP), ensuring traceability and inventory accuracy. Documentation: Complete and maintain shipping documents, calibration records, and KPIs. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing resource management and ensuring project requirements are met. Other Duties: Assist with shuttle coordination, housekeeping, and other outbound team tasks. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday - 6:30am to 4:00pm Friday - 6:30am to 10:00am What We’re Looking For: Essential: Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience. Valid B1 (Counterbalance) forklift licence; additional licences (B2, Sideloader, or Hoist) are advantageous. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. A-Level, HND, HNC, or BTEC qualifications (or equivalent). Desirable: Experience with MRP software such as SAP. Knowledge of import/export documentation. Basic French language skills (a bonus) Personal Qualities: Eagerness to learn and adapt. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
