A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join a well-known B Corp media company. This dynamic organisation is seeking a talented individual to focus on Commercial, Media, and Data Protection law. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will take on a variety of responsibilities, including: Drafting&Negotiation: Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and terms and conditions. Trademark Management: Overseeing and managing the company’s international trademark portfolio. Media Agreements: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating media contracts, including commissioning agreements, release forms, and other media-specific documents. Event&Supplier Contracts: Supporting the business with event agreements, supplier contracts, and key technology agreements, such as SaaS and IT contracts. Legal Operations: Driving Legal Ops projects to enhance efficiency through technology and process improvements. The successful candidate will ideally bring the following experience and skills: Experience: At least 2 years PQE, gained in a reputable commercial law firm and/or in-house role in the UK. Expertise: A strong track record in commercial law, with a good grounding in data protection, media/advertising, and intellectual property law (particularly copyright and trademarks). Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work effectively across teams. Why This Role?
