We are excited to be working with this leading retailer in their search for a Legal Counsel. This role is based in the office in the Midlands (accessible from Nottingham and Derby areas). This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis with an expectation for frequent office attendance. About the Role Seeking a solid Commercial Lawyer with strong experience negotiating, drafting and advising on a broad range of supplier and business partnership contracts for all areas of the Group’s businesses including: commercial, supply chain, events, marketing, ecommerce, franchising and licensing, IT&technology, outsourcing, and finance. Ability to provide advise on marketing and promotional activity including CAP code compliance for advertisements, promotions, competitions, and product packaging. Providing support on the legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations. Ability to give advise on general IP work. Advising and supporting as and when required on customer complaints and handling disputes and small claims. Supervising junior members of the team. Responsibilities Qualified solicitor with UK experience. Strong experience working within Commercial contract negotiation. Experience working in the retail/fmcg sector advantageous Strong communicator. Commercially minded.
