About the Role: In this role, you will provide counsel on competition law, trade, and economic sanctions matters, while monitoring legal and regulatory trends and identifying potential risks in these areas. About the Team: This is an exciting opportunity to join a global legal team that advises on competition law, trade, and economic sanctions across an international company operating in multiple jurisdictions, including Munich, Zurich, and London. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on a wide range of competition law issues, including behavioural, transactional, and contentious matters. Serve as a subject matter expert on trade and economic sanctions laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with US, UK, EU, and Swiss regimes, and assisting with the drafting and review of sanctions-related contract provisions. Assess potential regulatory issues and reporting requirements, offering guidance as needed. Monitor relevant legal trends and developments. Build and manage relationships with external counsel. Required Experience: A minimum of 4 years PQE in a financial crime legal advisory role, with a focus on competition law and sanctions, gained in a law firm or as in-house counsel within a multinational organization. Experience advising on financial crime, sanctions, and competition compliance frameworks, policies, and processes.
