Lead Backend Engineer (.NET) About the Role: We are working exclusively with one of the UK’s top software companies to find a talented Lead Backend Engineer. You will Join a multi-disciplinary product squad comprising Backend, Frontend, QA, UX, Content Creators, and a Product Manager, supported by Architects. You’ll help build, deliver, and maintain exceptional software, owning the full lifecycle from discovery to release. What You will be doing: Lead backend architecture and oversee backend tasks. Coach developers (currently 1) while contributing directly to Microservices architecture and legacy systems. Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring sprint goals are met. Participate in a Technical Leadership forum to shape tech and workflows. What We’re Looking For: Strong C# development experience Experience with both .NET Core and .NET Web API Experience of building Microservices in .Net Core Experience using Message Based Architectures Experience using both SQL&NoSQL technologies Experience of API design Cloud development/architecture (Azure) Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) Knowledge and experience of Unit Testing (xUnit, nUnit) Please contact Joely at Synchro to discuss this fantastic opportunity further Location: Fully remote Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
