Job Title: Land Surveyor Location: Shrewsbury, Derby, or Coventry Role Type: Permanent Morson is recruiting for a Land Surveyor to join a leading utility provider, playing a critical role in the delivery of capital investment projects as part of the AMP8 cycle-the largest investment program in the company's history. The Role As a Land Surveyor, you will be pivotal in delivering land access and acquisition strategies for critical infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: - Managing land acquisitions and rights, ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements. - Supporting the delivery of capital investment programs and protecting land interests. - Collaborating with supply chain partners to address land-related risks and opportunities effectively. - Providing expert technical advice for feasibility studies and capital project strategies. - Negotiating with stakeholders to secure essential land access rights. - Advising on and utilizing statutory powers while understanding implications for private landowners. Skills&Experience Required - Professional qualification: RICS/AssocRICS with demonstrated post-qualification experience. - Expertise in land access rights, acquisitions, and compensation management. - Preferably, experience working within or alongside utility providers on land-focused projects. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks across projects.
