Your role within the team: As a Key Account Manager in the Pet Category, your primary responsibility will be to manage and nurture relationships some of our key accounts while actively exploring opportunities to expand the company's market presence by opening new accounts. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, revenue growth, and overall success within the pet industry. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with the designated key accounts within the digital and brick&mortar landscape. Deliver commercial success through joint business plans and win: win scenarios. Understand the unique needs and goals of each account to provide tailored solutions and support. Regularly assess customer satisfaction, attend customer meetings and identify areas for improvement. Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling pet products. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to seize growth opportunities. New Account Acquisition: Identify and evaluate potential new accounts within the pet industry. Create business proposals and negotiate terms to establish new partnerships. Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company's ecosystem. Forecasting and Planning: Monitor sales data and market trends to make accurate sales forecasts. Create and manage account-specific business plans and budgets to achieve targets. Provide regular reports on account performance and market insights. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Supply Chain, and Customer Support. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve any issues promptly Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the pet category or a related industry in the UK and desirable if there is European experience. Strong understanding of the pet industry, market dynamics, and consumer behavior. Demonstrated history of growing revenue and market share, meeting sales goals Ability to develop and implement strategic account plans. Ability to work in an extremely fast pace, high growth organization juggling multiple customers, go-to market strategies Negotiation and influencing skills Superior communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A positive, can-do, energetic&authentic personality that are a genuine fit and contribution to our H&H culture Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
