Junior Development Chef North West Competitive salary with car allowance and bonus Opportunity for a creative Chef to develop their career with a leading food business. Here you will use your culinary skills to develop delicious new products for the supermarket shelves. You’ll collaborate with major retail clients to develop new products that appeal to consumers and perform well in the market. The role will focus on savoury product development inspired by world cuisines. It’s a hands-on role in the state-of-the-art development kitchen. This innovative business has invested heavily in fantastic new R&D facilities where you’ll be based. Day-to-day you’ll be creating new recipes and redeveloping existing ones. You’ll be creating product samples, preparing customer presentations and ensuring recipe systems are accurately updated. You’ll work with the factory teams to ensure your recipes can be effectively scaled up in production whilst maintaining their quality and taste. You’ll also be involved in product benchmarking and testing. You’ll be joining a creative team of NPD professionals who will provide full training and support to enable you to develop your career. About you – A creative Chef who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen Knowledgeable about world cuisines – including Indian and Oriental Fascinated by everything food-related – you enjoy researching the latest trends Good IT and organisational skills A great communicator who is comfortable presenting to others The role offers an attractive salary dependent on experience with an extensive benefits package including bonus, enhanced pension, and healthcare. This is a permanent role, usually working Monday – Friday days with some flexibility. It will involve travel, so a driving licence is essential. The role also requires you to have the permanent right to work/residency in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available.
