Job Description
A well established manufacturer of personal and home care is actively looking to grow their team by bringing on board a junior buyer/procurement. The role is based in Kent with 2/3 days per week in the office. You will be task to work on General Procurement and special projects, assisting the procurement manager on various task such as: Tracking and monitoring of commodity indices through graphs, excel to report on data. Carry out RFQs for special projects Work on contract and term negotiations Support on packaging and raw materials rejects and complaints issues Assist with annual budget Organise and conduct suppliers reviews The person successful for this role will have some form of experience in procurement, ideally from an internship or graduate scheme. They will have excellent communication skills, will be able to work independently and as part of a team and will be a proficient user of SAP or similar system.
